Support offered at the University
As a care experienced young person, you may have concerns about studying at university, both on a personal and financial level. We can offer you support throughout your academic journey. At Huddersfield we have dedicated support for you from pre-entry through to graduation.
We have two dedicated members of staff that will help guide and support you though your journey. Ruth Cohen will support all aspects of your application and transition into Higher Education (HE). Then our specialist wellbeing officer Rebecca Hayes, will be able to support you though your studies, with 1-2-1 support and any additional help you might need.
