Higher Education (HE) providers such as universities and colleges can offer businesses and organisations many opportunities to attract, retain and support a highly-skilled workforce.

We can help employers in West Yorkshire understand what’s on offer and connect with regional providers. Our guidance is aimed at businesses of all sizes, as well as charities and public-sector organisations who might benefit from a relationship with a Higher Education provider.

Go Higher West Yorkshire supports employers to make connections for apprenticeships, work-based learning, skills, careers, employability and enterprise with each of our 13 HE provider members through our Go Higher Skills Group.

Our Go Higher Skills Group works with employers, champions best practice and collaborates to support and empower people from underrepresented groups to gain higher level skills, progress into or within employment, develop their understanding of alternative HE options, and increase progression into graduate-level destinations.
