Year 9 students at Leeds West Academy went on an exciting visit to Liverpool last month; as part of the IntoUniversity‘s Extended Horizons residential programme.

The trip included exploring the Albert Docks, a tour of Liverpool University, pizza making, crazy golf, watching the World Cup England match, a ferry trip to Wallasey and an inspirational journey through space and science at Spaceport.

Miss Page said: “A brilliant residential, with perfect weather and splendid students. We walked for miles and saw many sights whilst the sun was shining on us. Students were exceptionally well behaved and represented the school in such a positive light throughout our trip.

“I want to thank the students and Miss Collins and Mr. Sharp for sharing a wonderful experience that I shall never forget!”
