On the 9^th March 2018, five professionals from different careers in the media came into school to talk about what it is like to have a job in the media industry. They each had a different job, ranging from Photographer to Sports Journalist. Students who were taking Media as a GCSE option and who may be interested in a career in the industry were invited to listen to their experiences and ask the panel different questions, such as what their favourite part of their job is and why. The panel gave the students lots of valuable information about what it is like to have a job in the media industry, helping them to understand what it might be like and how to go about achieving their dream job.
