In March 2021, GHWY hosted the inaugural Decolonising the Curriculum Network meeting, chaired by the University of Leeds, which offers member institutions a space to share ideas, discuss their related work, and find out more about this agenda. 

discussions reflected on a recorded keynote speech and the key themes raised in it, including the difference between ‘diversifying’ and ‘decolonising’ and the importance of strong leadership and appropriate resourcing. Importantly, it also provided a space for members to share their journeys, frustrations and successes, and provide support – as well as supportive challenge – for each other. 

It is planned that the network will continue to bring members together twice a year, with discussions focused around a previously agreed topic.
