GHWY’s HE Week is in-demand

Over 300 people accessed exclusive resources or live streamed events during GHWY’s Higher Education (HE) Week.

The online event, which ran between 1-7 February, built on the success of last July’s inaugural HE Week. It significantly developed our virtual platform and introduced a brand new on-demand feature, which means that more students can access the materials and still obtain support from our team.

Five live talks were delivered over the course of the week. They covered advice on creating a creative arts portfolio and managing wellbeing, and introductions to HE, UCAS, and apprenticeships. Now available on-demand, they can be used in both school and home sessions.

A range of resource material was also made available. This included information about financial support, wellbeing support, and guidance for parents and carers. These were all developed and delivered in partnership with our 13 member institutions, which include three specialists, three University Centres, and a Russell Group university.

Resources and on-demand talks from the Week will remain on GHWY’s website to continue to support learners. The number of people who have accessed the talks on-demand has already exceeded those who attended the live events.
