Course aims: By the end of this course, you will have the knowledge, understanding and confidence to empower you to support disabled students in Higher Education (HE).   

Audience: The course may also be of interest to student-facing staff that work in counselling, careers or marketing in HE so they can better communicate with and/or provide support for these students. 

The course will take approximately 45 minutes and covers the following topics: 

  • Understanding the experiences of disabled students
  • Understanding how this may impact their time in HE
  • Understanding how to support these students
  • Where to find more information and resources
