E-learning for HE staff to understand and support disabled students
Course aims: By the end of this course, you will have the knowledge, understanding and confidence to empower you to support disabled students in Higher Education (HE).
Audience: The course may also be of interest to student-facing staff that work in counselling, careers or marketing in HE so they can better communicate with and/or provide support for these students.
The course will take approximately 45 minutes and covers the following topics:
- Understanding the experiences of disabled students
- Understanding how this may impact their time in HE
- Understanding how to support these students
- Where to find more information and resources
