Registration opens for Care to Go Higher CPD
Go Higher West Yorkshire (GHWY) is pleased to announce the delivery dates for the next round of its Care to Go Higher CPD programme.
Awarded ‘certified’ status by CPD UK, the free training is aimed at the key influencers of care-experienced young people. It aims to empower them to support young people to make informed decisions about Higher Education (HE).
The CPD will run from April to July 2025. It will consist of six two-hour sessions delivered online by Rob Scott, GHWY’s Training Delivery Officer.
Each session will feature a guest speaker who will provide their own personal or expert knowledge on care experience. These will include HE outreach staff, care-experienced students, admissions staff, and representatives from organisations that support care-experienced young people.
The content will be delivered to two cohorts before the end of the academic year. In the interests of making the sessions accessible to as many people as possible, the delivery will be staggered over a few months.
