Let’s Talk Real Skills is a European Social Fund programme for which Go Higher West Yorkshire is a delivery partner.  It provides a unique platform for bringing together further and higher education providers and employers to focus upon the skills needs of nine sector areas. Each sector has its own Collaborative Skills Partnership for gathering insight and developing new pilot provision funded through the programme. 

Over the last six months we have been able to lay the foundations for new provision that uniquely responds to the needs of regional small and medium sized businesses. In its pilot stage employees will be able to access and trial this new training for free. This will provide the opportunity for staff to upskill and invest in the co-design of skills training solutions. It is expected that a number of new training courses will be rolled out in the autumn, adding strength to the regional skills offer.
