Care to Go Higher CPD programme awarded certification
Go Higher West Yorkshire (GHWY) is pleased to announce that its Care to Go Higher (CtGH) programme has been awarded ‘certified’ status by CPD UK.
The programme, which was launched in 2019, gives the key influencers of care-experienced individuals the tools they need to support informed decision making in relation to Higher Education (HE). Sessions cover information about HE, resources, activities, and guest speakers that have included representatives from John Lewis.
By completing a CPD certified course, employees can be sure in the quality and robustness of the learning content. They will also gain a recognised qualification in their portfolios, helping to demonstrate their commitment to continual learning. This can support them to progress within their current roles, and can aid them when seeking new employment.
Certification recognises CtGH’s high quality and is a trust mark that it helps learners to achieve their professional goals. It was described by CPD UK as, “An informative training, with clearly defined learning objectives, and participatory opportunities for delegates.”
The award is supported by comprehensive evaluation of the course. This demonstrates how participants’ understanding of various topics around how HE and care-experience can interact has consistently increased after attending the CtGH programme. Read our programme evaluation reports.
The next CtGH delivery programme will run online between 7 November until 12 December. Find out more and register.
