Go Higher West Yorkshire first delivered the innovative Care to Go Higher programme to key influencers of care-experienced young people in 2019. The programme is designed to equip key influencers (such as Foster Carers and Leaving Care Advisors) to support care-experienced young people to make informed choices about their educational progression. It is now certified CPD.

The programme has been evaluated every year since its inception and continually demonstrates excellent outcomes for programme participants. The latest evaluation report is available to download here, alongside reports from previous years and the original research, published in 2020, which presents eye-opening insights into the need for and importance of this programme alongside evaluative findings.
