Session 3: Go Debate

This third session  helps learners to actively listen, build confidence in speaking, and begin to debate with others. Learners will be given guidance on how to structure an argument using ‘Yes, But, Because’ and use this to have an effective debate around a particular topic. This builds on the skills developed in the last session, Go Analyse, as learners will need to be able to think critically and analyse other people’s argument to be able to debate effectively.

This session can be delivered in approximately 1 hour.
