Disabled learners face additional barriers in all stages of their education, but particularly during the transition from FE to HE. 

Barriers include but are not limited to: 

• Additional administrative burdens due to inaccessible processes 
• Concerns around discrimination and stigmatisation of disability 
• A lack of inclusive teaching 
• Having to repeatedly disclose their disability
