Some HE providers offer scholarships, grants and bursaries to disabled students. These do not have to be repaid and therefore do not contribute to the overall cost of studying at HE.

Most universities and colleges have hardship funds for students who run into financial problems while studying, and anyone can apply for these. 

Being in receipt of DSA does not disqualify students from receiving extra support in the form of grants, scholarships or bursaries.
