Not all HE staff are expected to provide support with the process of applying for DSA. However, it is important that individuals have knowledge of DSA and what it involves so they are aware of the extra burden it places on disabled students. 

There may be a period at the start of a student’s time at HE where, for various reasons, they do not have DSA in place so need other support.
